Tools For Community Management

There are various tools for community management. So we will tackle the following tools that are used for community management.

1. Facebook Page

Facebook page is the most common tool for community management. Whenever a new product or service is launched, a Facebook page always becomes the first place to post about it. 

The reason behind this is Facebook has a huge organic reach and it is easy to have access to the followers. The common way to post on Facebook is by using an app called Hootsuite.

2. Twitter Account

A Twitter account is another social media that can be used to manage your community. When you are using Twitter as a community management tool, it will be better if you also have a Twitter account.

It is because, with that, you can easily interact with your followers daily. The post of your community management will become more alive and interactive if you have a personal profile on Twitter. 

Your followers will be more interested in what you are posting.

3. Google+ Page

When you are managing your community by using Google+. It will be better if you also have Google accounts because it will allow you to do hangouts and video calls with your followers.

That can make your communication more interactive and engaging for them. Besides, for Google+ pages, it is also better if you have a personal profile on Google+. 

By having both profiles on the Google+ platform, your followers will get more information about your activities. And also they will feel like they know you better than before. 

They can easily follow up with what’s happening in your life and that can increase their engagement with your brand or company.

4. Instagram Account

Instagram accounts are also a good place to manage your community. It is because many Instagram users would like to connect with brands or companies due to Instagram’s photo-sharing platform. 

That’s why Instagram accounts are becoming one of the essential tools for managing communities nowadays aside from Facebook pages, Twitter accounts, and Google+ pages. But before you decide to create an Instagram account for your community.

It is better if you first create an Instagram profile that should belong to yourself as a brand representative of your company or brand. It is because of information about what you like and what kind of photos often appear in your timeline. 

It can be useful for people who want to connect with brands or companies through Instagram accounts. So this is because that information can help them understand how professionally the brand uses Instagram accounts for networking purposes.

It is also a way to attract potential followers to follow the Instagram accounts of the brands or companies.  

5. Blogging

Blogging can also be used as a tool for community management because it is easy for your followers to contribute to your blog. Even if they do not have their websites or blogs yet because they can simply comment on your posts on your blog. 

The good thing about having comments on your posts or articles is that you will know exactly what your followers think about the post. Or an article that you have written that can give you some insights about what they want from you next time.

When you write another blog post or article. Another plus point of having comments on your posts or articles is that the readers are no followers yet.

But those who are interested in what you share will find it easier to follow up with you. And also that can increase the number of your followers eventually.
