2. Provide Opportunities for Your Employees to Contribute

If you want to motivate your employees, give them opportunities to contribute to your organization. People are more likely to feel connected to their work if they have an active role in determining the goals and objectives of the company, how they are accomplished, and how they are evaluated.

3. Enable Your Team Members to Achieve Personal Goals

If your employees feel that their jobs are just a means to an end—that their income is necessary for them to provide for their families or pay off student loans—they will not be motivated by work goals. They will be motivated only by personal goals like becoming debt-free.
