In this case, the business manager is responsible for the overall management, control, and supervision of day to day activities of the company. He/she is responsible for overall financial performance including both profit and loss matters.

A business manager can also work in an organization such as a school, college, hospital, non-profit organization, etc. In such cases, he/she will be responsible for conducting all day-to-day organizational activities including promotion and marketing of the institution. 

The business manager will coordinate with all members of the organization. This is so that activities are smooth. He /she needs to ensure that all financial aspects of the organization are looked into and handled properly.

  • Taking care of all financial matters related to the organization such as income generation and expenditure control; preparation of budgets; preparation of profit and loss account
  • Coordination with different departments such as marketing, sales, finance, human resource

  • Ensuring smooth operations within the organization
  • Supervision over other employee’s activities

Financial Advisor

financial advisor in an organization can be responsible for the financial management of the organization. In this case, the advisor will be responsible for financial planning and decision-making related to the organization.

  • He/she will need to have a thorough understanding of different financial activities such as investment analysis, capital budgeting, capital structure decisions

An operations manager works in an organization. He/she needs to take care of all operations related to the organization including production, supply chain management, logistics, etc. He /she will be responsible for managing people working in different departments such as purchasing, production.

  • He/she will need to manage all operations related to the organization like production, supply chain management, logistics 
  • Also, he needs to manage people working in different departments such as purchasing, production.
  • He/she will be responsible for supervising employees and achieving various goals set for the department or the organization. 

The manager needs to at times recommend changes in policies and procedures so that organizational objectives are achieved smoothly.
